Growing up in a gardening family, Chrissy learned at an early age to appreciate and utilize the beauty of mother nature. She has been working  and designing perennial gardens for her farm and her clients for many years. 

Over the years, Chrissy began to make dried wreaths and quickly became interested in collecting and foraging flowers locally. She also began to expand her gardens with this in mind. What began as something she enjoyed in her free time has now turned into large sculptural floral designs. Each one is one of a kind. She also dries flowers for special occasions (weddings or memorial services) and recreates them into a special keepsake to display in your home. 

While Chrissy enjoys creating these beautiful works of art she also sees them as a way to expose, appreciate and celebrate the beauty of nature itself.

Our Story

Once known as Lapland Orchard and Nursery, Pear Tree Gardens is home to one of the oldest pear trees in Vermont. Over two-hundred years old this beautiful home is rich in Vermont history and has a spectacular mountain view. Chrissy is bringing this farm back to life while honoring the history of the land as she creates and builds her gardens, works in the greenhouse and creates artisanal floral arrangements in her studio..
